I’m a freelance editor, copyeditor and proofreader with 17 years of ELT teaching experience and a background in educational publishing since 2018, I provide specialist development editing, content editing, copyediting and proofreading. My work spans coursebooks, assessments, exam preparation and inclusive learning materials, with a focus on clarity, accuracy and learner-centred content.
As a CIEP Professional Member, I bring a commitment to inclusive communication and LGBTQIA+ representation to my editorial work. I also provide EDI and inclusive-language consultancy for charities and not-for-profit organisations, including cultural audits, content reviews and guidance on inclusive language. My voluntary editorial work with organisations such as Galop and Guts UK gives me valuable insight into the work and priorities of the charity sector.
